every once in awhile, my mouse icon will become invisible. i can still move parameters, but i can't see the icon itself. i'm using a wireless logitech g602, but even when i move my trackpad it's still invisible. this could be a massive problem during a live performance, although it only happens to me every week or two. the only way the icon will come back is if i restart ableton. i'm on 10.1 ...

Ableton Live is a DAW known for its versatility resulting from two separate views. This DAW can be used for live performances just as easily as it can be used for studio production. Because of its widespread use, there is a huge amount of tutorials online and dedicated hardware.
The Track option allows Ableton to receive the MIDI note and control change messages from the device. This is the button we need to turn on if we want to send MIDI notes and control changes to synths and play things in Ableton. The Remote option is what allows us to use the same incoming MIDI data to map onto Live parameters and trigger things like clips in the clip grid.
